Madonna C. Jackson was born in Wichita, KS, she currently resides in Hillsborough, NC, as a survivor of domestic violence Madonna is adept in what it takes to start over and has an unique perspective of domestic violence. She is a published author and Spoken Word artist, she has lived in over 18 cities and served honorably in the United States Army as an Administration Specialist. In 2007 she received her Bachelor’s degree from DeVry University in Technical Management, and is currently is working toward her Graduate Degree in Theology. Madonna has been involved in the education, awareness and prevention of domestic violence for over 30 years.
She has in-depth knowledge of the different types of domestic violence and speaks to the psychological , physical and emotional aspects. She still severs as an Honorary Advisory Board Member for Women Called Moses Coalition and Outreach, Inc., and has been a member if excellent standing for over 12 years.
She serves as the Sherri Denese Jackson Foundation for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, Inc. in the capacity of Community Outreach Coordinator, overseeing the administrative planning and implementation of outreach strategies, connecting people in the community, cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals and other relevant organizations across the country.
Madonna believes that knowledge is what empowers individuals to make the lifesaving decisions, to exit from abusive situations.
