A lot has been going on in the world around us and even more so in our personal lives. Watching the news and all that is occurring lately, managing our own families and day-to-day lives, coping with a relationship breakdown, feeling overwhelmed with class assignments, helping another friend with his/her issues, life can get heavy. We may not want to admit it but at times we feel tired and down. We look at ourselves to find bags under our eyes and our complexion a little gray. Honestly, making time to do something good for ourselves lately hasn't made it to the top of our To-Do List - if we even saved a space for it at all. With nice weather approaching us, I want each of you to play this weekend. Yes, play! Give permission for your inner-child to come out and go out and have a little fun. For you it could be reading a book on your patio, planting flowers in preparation for Spring, taking your kids to a park (and actually playing with them), calling friends over for a Spades game, painting your fingernails with a girlfriend or watching your favorite Disney movie. Do something good for yourself and go play. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the word "Play" in the subject line and tell us how you played this weekend for a chance to win a gift card.
