Tammy Dove is originally from the Eden, NC and Axton, VA area. She has a strong passion for standing up for the rights of those who may be treated unfairly or immorally. Tammy is extremely devoted to the welfare of others and the community. This showed up in her unwavering commitment to help care for and speak up for her comatose aunt daily from 2008 until she passed away in August 2019 as well as her above and beyond enthusiasm at her job to advocate and speak up for patients, which earned Tammy an Employee of the Month award.
Tammy is dedicated to the SDJF based on personal experiences and speaking to other people who has gone through domestic situations. Tammy has a strong fervor to increase awareness to domestic issues, to ensure that victims are provided with necessary resources, and ultimately to help make strides in changing laws to better assist in domestic issues. Tammy is the mother of two teens and a 1992 North Carolina A & T State University Magna Cum Laude graduate with a B.S. degree in Accounting. She has also served in the capacity of a court appointed Conservator. Tammy is currently employed with Cone Health where she has been employed since 1996.
